June 16th & 17th Live In-Person Event Hosted by Postseason

Los Angeles, CA, June 13, 2022 – This June 16th & 17th in Los Angeles, California, Postseason will be hosting several community rich events that include: a two-day Athlete Training Camp exclusively for former athletes, followed by a professional networking event that will host current & former athletes, sports business professionals, investors, retired players, brands and more. These in-person experiences will have former athletes immersed into what the Postseason social network will have to offer once the app is launched.

           Postseason is founded by former NFL player Jelani Jenkins; it is a platform that offers both education and mentorship to former athletes. These athletes often find themselves lost after their athletic careers end. Jelani started this company and community from a personal journey as he played in the NFL for 5 years and after he stopped playing, he had a drastic life change. As athletes are scheduled from morning to night, after they stop playing many suffer from lack of or too much motivation and go into burnout. This is from a lack of structure and support post athletic career. Jelani found it imperative to create this structure for his fellow athletes. Postseason includes a community of athletes and experts that offer many resources for its members. Postseason also offers education courses on its app. This is a platform and app if the first of its kind to support this group of people. The goal of Postseason is to empower athletes and cultivate communities of mentors and change makers. 

           In preparation of the platform launching their platform, Postseason will host its first in-person events at YOUBE Drop-in Cowork on Melrose Ave in Los Angeles. Attendees will receive a crash course on the new app and meet the community in real life. The networking event includes guests’ speakers such as: Ashley Menzies Babatunde - former Stanford track athlete, attorney, storyteller; Dave DesRochers - dual sport letterman at San Diego State University, retired NFL vet, current founder & CEO of Amployers; Drew Davis - former Oregon football athlete & retired NFL vet, former director of player development at UCLA, owner of Quality over Quantity coaching & consulting; Chris Ward, former NFL player, President of the NFLPA - LA Chapter, will be in attendance to host a silent auction during the networking event; and Reginald Grant - former Oregon football athlete & retired NFL Vet, business strategist, co-founder, eSportsInstruction & NFTs By Athletes, Inc.
